DR Photography specializes in band photography.  Formerly based in the Minneapolis area, I have taken pics in some of the most popular venues, Bogart’s Place, G.B. Leighton’s Pickle Park and Salida Depot, to name a few.  I have worked with national recording artists, Rocket Club as well as established local acts such as The Chris Hawkey Band, PopRocks, Joy Ride, and MisterMeaner.  Whenever possible, my photographs are taken without flash.  This provides more dynamic photographs by utilizing the existing light, allowing the viewers to fully capture the feel of the performance.
